  1. Zip World

Home to Phoenix, Tower Climber and Tower Flyer, Zip World Tower is the 4th Zip World site to open, and is the 1st to be situated in south Wales. Nestled in the Rhigos mountain range, and boasting stunning panoramic views, this adventure hub is situated at the old Tower Colliery coal mining site, and had created a new lease of life for this historic and widely-loved base. Phoenix is the world’s fastest seated zip line, with 4 parallel lines in 2 separate zip zones. This zip line will see you flying across the Welsh countryside.

  1. Stargazing in The Beacons Dark Skies

Due to low levels of light pollution, the Brecon Beacons National Park was awarded International Dark Sky Reserve status in 2013, making it as one of the best places in the world to stargaze.  This year, to celebrate ten years of dark skies, the Brecon Beacons park is launching a campaign to make the stars shine all the brighter.

Low light pollution is not only good for stargazing, it’s also vital to nocturnal wildlife and to human wellbeing.

Reducing light pollution keeps our circadian rhythm (our body clock) functioning normally. When this rhythm is disrupted it can cause behavioural, physical and mental changes. So you can also guarantee a better night sleep at The Good Life Wales
